Eyebrow Arts receive funding to tour Care Homes across Norfolk. Eyebrow Arts, which is based in Norwich has recently received £15,000 of funding from Arts Council England. This funding, along with the support from Norwich Arts Centre and Norfolk County Council will help Eyebrow Arts tour across the county.
The arts organisation will take their interactive arts performance, ‘An Invitation’ to over twenty care home, day centres and dementia support groups. The tour kicked off last week (5th December) at Woodland Care Home in Hethersett and will travel to several places over the next five months including Wymondham, Dereham, Gorleston and Costessey.
Eyebrow Arts hope that ‘An Invitation’ will bring joy, support and inspiration to both carers and their cared for. Each performance responds to the audience’s abilities and imaginations. Eyebrow Artist, Sorrel Muggridge told the EDP ‘We are excited to be reaching such a wide variety of settings and bringing something exciting, fresh and new to inspire the staff and people they care for.’
