How can we work together?

Whether you’re interested in increasing the profile of your business in the community, engaging your employees, or making your products and service stand out from the competition, there are lots of different ways that we can work together to help you achieve your goals. Here are a few ideas to get you started.

Sponsorship

We have various events and opportunities available for corporate sponsorship throughout the year. These include our Carers Week and Carers’ Rights Day events, which attract local, regional and national media coverage. There are also opportunities to feature in our Carers Handbook or other publicity materials. We can tailor packages to fit your corporate objectives.

Company donations

Your donation, regardless of its size, can make a big difference to Carers Matter Norfolk and our work to support Norfolk’s 100,000 carers. However much you can donate, we will work with you to ensure that you know how your money is making a difference.

Payroll giving

Payroll Giving is an easy to set up scheme run by HMRC that allows employees to make tax-effective donations to any UK charity or good cause. Donations made through Payroll Giving are taken from an employee’s pay before tax deductions. Setting up payroll giving means your staff can give to a vital cause; making a real difference to carers all year round.

Cause-related marketing (CRM)

‘Ethical shopping’ has grown in size and importance in the UK over the last few years and it’s becoming increasingly essential for businesses to align themselves with charitable causes. Benefits can include additional brand credibility and recognition, increased sales and good public relations coverage.

Employee Fundraising

Fundraising for charitable causes helps staff build communication and organisational skills and provides unique team building opportunities through taking on new responsibilities. We can work with your team to deliver fundraising activities that meet your needs as a business and complements your skills base. We are confident in finding activities that meet your needs.

Carers Matter Norfolk has an exciting calendar of activities and events taking place across the year which we host or participate in that could support both individual and teams of employees. We are also happy to work with you to create bespoke fundraising strategies that align with your business needs.

Employee volunteering with Carers Matter Norfolk not only offers direct benefits to carers that that we support and the people they care for but also to your staff and your business. We have several exciting corporate volunteering opportunities, from event management and facilitation to practical tasks and one-to-one befriending.
