Caring Together conducted a survey for Young Carers, ‘Getting our Voice Heard 2018’ and they need your help.
Caring Together have a vision ‘of a world where the role and contribution of unpaid family carers and young carers are recognised and they have access to the quality support and services they need to live their own lives.’
As well as offering quality respite for carers the trust runs groups for carers and young carers. One of their main focus areas is to raise awareness of young carers and this survey is a chance to do this. As a member of their Norfolk Young Carers Forum, you can also meet other Young Carers and receive free training.
If you are a professional working with Young Carers please do encourage as many people as possible to take part in the survey and help to make it a success.
If you are a Young Carer then ‘Getting Our Voice Heard’ is an opportunity for you to express your opinions about the issues that affect you and your families. It is an opportunity to make a difference. The survey will be running until the end of December so please do take a minute to take part. There will be two £20.00 vouchers prizes for individuals that complete the surveys and a further £100.00 voucher for the group that one of the young carers belongs to that completes the survey. These will be drawn on Young Carers Awareness Day on 31st January 2019 at Dereham Football Club (invitation to follow after completion of the survey).
