The Family Carers Group is led by Mid Norfolk Mencap and is open to any carers in the area. Membership of the group is open to family carers and others who have a direct interset in Norfolks Learning Disabilities. The group forms part of the Family Carers Support Network with the Norfolk Learning Disabilities Southern Locality Group.
Mid Norfolk Mencap invite speakers with a specialist knowledge of current topics, this gives them an opportunity both to question and help with particular issues.
Carers are welcome to come along to meetings to talk with other family carers, learn and even enjoy the occasional social event made available through the program.
Family Carers Group is available to carers. The group is held the second Wednesday of every month between 10.30am-12.30pm. Mid Norfolk Mencap ask for a contribution of £2 towards refreshments and room hire costs
