The Information & Advice section on this website aims to help you find your way around the services and support available. You can find out about your rights and get in touch with organisations quickly and easily. It can aid you to find help with the day to day tasks that form part of your caring role; supporting you to improve your own emotional and physical health and wellbeing.
The Information & Advice section is divided into smaller sections that we know matter to carers. If you need help to use it you can contact the Carers Matter Advice Line on 0800 083 1148. They will be able to talk you through the sections to find just the right information for your situation.
Further Information and Advice
- The Norfolk Directory provides residents and families with information, advice, services and activities across Norfolk. They also provide information which supports the Local Offer, Care Act and Childcare Act.
- The Local Offer will help you to find information about provision that is available for children and young people with Special Educational Needs & Disability (SEND) in Norfolk. It also guides you in how to access different types of services and support. The Local Offer aims to make provision responsive to the needs and aspirations of children, young people and parents by directly involving them in its development and reviews.
- Your Guide to Care and Support for Adults aims to provide you with the information you need to find social care services in Norfolk. This guide covers care providers and care homes in Norfolk; plus information covering topics such as falls prevention, safety in the home, accessing help from social care and much more.
