A new range of workshops are being launched for Carers within the local community, to help them in their caring role and dedicated support they need, as part of the Carers Matter Norfolk support.

The first of these is an ‘Introduction to Harm Free Care’ taking place at the Methodist Church in Lessingham 2:30pm – 3:30pm on Thursday 20th September.  The focus of this workshop is on often avoidable harms and things carers can do to help prevent them.  Other workshops include: Safer Mover and Handling and Caring for the Carers.

Sarah Steele who is organising the workshops said

We deliver lots of carer support workshops in the local community and see how beneficial this help is for carers.  We see the same carers returning to new workshops and hear of them telling others carers how much it helps them.
