Patients and carers across Norfolk and Waveney are being asked what’s important to them when it comes to the health and care they receive from local NHS services.

The Government is investing an extra £20bn a year in the NHS and health bosses have produced a Long Term Plan, setting out all the things it wants health services to do better for people across the country. This includes:

  • making it easier for people to access support closer to home and via technology
  • doing more to help people stay well
  • providing better support for people with long-term health conditions.

They are asking all patients, along with their families and carers to share their views on what matters to them to ensure their voice helps shape local priorities.

Anyone who lives in Norfolk or Waveney can complete the online survey here.

If you or someone you know is affected by specific long-term condition, or multiple health conditions, they have a more tailored survey available here. To further consult with the public, Healthwatch Norfolk (HWN) are hosting a series of focus groups, in which attendees will have an opportunity to hear more about the Long Term Plan and discuss their views in more detail. All comments will be noted and used to shape HWN’s final recommendations to local health leaders.
