Health and wellbeing

Resources to help support you with your own physical and emotional health and wellbeing, as well as information about support the health and wellbeing of your loved one.

  • The You and Your Wellbeing resource is designed to help you build strategies to maintain physical and emotional wellbeing. It also tackles the impact of stress on wellbeing as a result of juggling a hectic caring routine, as well as how to cope with experiencing loss.
  • The Role of Good Nutrition resource was developed with Nutricia to help you understand the role of nutrition for yourself and your loved one.

Support for caring

Resources to support you as a carer. For example, helping you understand how to build a help network, find local resources and services and find other areas of support.

  • The Upfront guide to caring is a simple tool for you if you are new to the maze of benefits and entitlements.
  • The Young adult carers e-Learning offers information for you if you are a young adult carer aged 18 – 24 years. It aims to help you identify ways of working alongside caring, explain continuing education and training options, explain how to get financial support and support on staying healthy.
