World Diabetes Day
An event focussing on diabetes, what causes it and how people can manage their life or support a person who is diabetic, is taking place at The Kings Centre, Gt. Yarmouth 10am – 4pm on Wednesday 14th November.
It is being run by Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, Carers Matter Norfolk and East coast Community Healthcare. There will be a range of exhibitors at the event with lots of information available for people to take away.
Sarah Steele who is co-organising the forum event said:
“Diabetes is under-recognised in people’s health, the signs we should look out for, maintaining our health to prevent the onset of Diabetes and the importance of looking after ourselves if we have it. This event will go a great way to helping people.”
