Holt & District Dementia Support is a local registered charity which provides a service hub for those with dementia their carers and their families.
Their Poppy Home Visiting service provides respite for family members or carers who look after those with dementia in their own homes.
Their services include a weekly Poppy Café and fortnightly Poppy PM. Both offer opportunities for support and companionship in a safe, friendly and relaxed environment. They also run a Poppy Friends group, an invitation-only support session for established attendees of Poppy Café or Poppy PM, as well as bereaved carers who previously attended such groups.
Poppy Café opens every Tuesday from 10.30am to 12.30pm, and Poppy PM is open on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 2.00 to 3.30pm.
