Get away on holiday

Need a break from your caring responsibilities? The Respite Association are offering unpaid carers FREE seven-day self-catering holidays on a first come, first served basis.

Destinations for the offer include Penzance, Bridlington, and Llandulas on the North Wales coast. Although there is no charge for the breaks, a £50 deposit is required at least eight weeks before you go away, which will be refunded in full if no damage or additional cleaning is needed.

You can request a break if you:

• Care for a person who has a medical or mental health diagnosis.
• Are a long-term carer (for one year or more).
• Can confirm you are on benefits and/or a limited income and could not otherwise afford a break without support. You must not have received support from The Respite Association in the previous 18 months (either through a grant or break under this scheme).
