Get on board for dementia awareness

Do you care for a family member or friend with dementia and want to have a better understanding of what life is like for them?

The Training2Care Virtual Dementia Tour Bus is equipped with a range of sensory tools and deprivation aids, offering a unique, immersive experience and first-hand insight into the behaviours, challenges and needs of people living with dementia.

Supported by Norfolk County Council and Norfolk Care Careers and Jobs, the bus will be visiting several locations this month, giving visitors the chance to find out more about dementia and how to better support those affected.

The bus will be open from 10am-4pm at the following dates and locations:
Monday 6 July: King’s Lynn Market Place
Tuesday 7 July: Thetford Market Place
Wednesday 8 July: Great Yarmouth Market Place
Thursday 9 July: North Walsham Market Place
Friday 10 July: The Forum, Norwich
