Have a Cuppa Care

Loneliness and isolation are painful feelings you may experience as an unpaid carer, but the brand-new Cuppa Care project aims to address these issues.

Initiated by the Rotary Club of Norwich, the scheme is being led by Hear for Norfolk, with the goal of bringing people together and tackling loneliness that may be caused through poverty, disability, age, lack of accessible local support and information, rural remoteness, poor transport or other issues.

The Cuppa Care bus will be heading out to towns and villages across the county until September, visiting them on a monthly or bimonthly basis, as a place where people can get on board, have a chat over a tea or coffee, and get useful information and advice.

Volunteers are also needed to support the project by offering visitors a warm welcome and a listening ear, so if you can help, email cuppacarenorfolk@hearfornorfolk.org.uk.
