Online advice for older people
Free webinars on a wide range of topics aimed at older people are being provided by national charity Independent Age.

Led by expert advisors, the monthly hour-long Good to Know webinars are suitable for those aged over 65, as well as unpaid carers supporting an older family member or friend.
Forthcoming Good to Know online sessions include:
Thursday 30 July (2pm-3pm): Help with getting around – The webinar will cover the support you can get, including how to get a Blue Badge, mobility equipment, community transport schemes, and disability benefits.
Tuesday 25 August (1pm-2pm): Benefits when you reach state pension age – This session will explain how turning State Pension age affects different benefits, what other support that you might be entitled to, and what happens if you continue working.
