Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals’ virtual dementia fayre, taking place on Microsoft Teams on Thursday 20 May from 2pm, will provide information and support to people living with dementia and their families.

A team of experts panel will be there for any questions you have on dementia care and support.

Liz Yaxley, NNUH Dementia Services Manager, who will also be on the panel, said the event is an opportunity to launch the Trust’s new dementia strategy and answer as many questions as possible from people living with dementia, carers and families.

Liz said, “We look forward every year to bringing together a wealth of dementia information and support at the NNUH Dementia Fayre. Due to coronavirus restrictions, we are not able to have a physical event, but will be bringing together a vast range of expertise during this digital Q&A.

“We know it has been a particularly difficult time for people living with dementia and their loved ones during the pandemic and we want to provide as much help and support as possible as well as setting out our strategy for dementia support at the hospital.”

The event will take place via Microsoft Teams here or via nnuh.nhs.uk/events from 2pm on 20 May where guests can post questions in the chat box or can submit their questions in advance to communications@nnuh.nhs.uk
