Plan for the unexpected

By planning ahead for emergencies, you can reduce worry

By planning ahead for emergencies, you can reduce worry and know that you have a plan and know what to do if something unexpected happens. As a carer you may be concerned about what happens to the person you look after if you are ill yourself, or are admitted to hospital.

At this time of year you may also be more concerned about risks of power cuts, or equipment breaking down during the festive season.
