Award-winning safelocaltrades.com is a local community safety service that protects consumers from ‘cowboys’ and ‘rogue traders’ by providing free and easy access to a register of local recommended traders who have been criminal record checked, vetted and approved, abide by a service charter and who are monitored on an on-going basis. Primarily targeted at the PE Postcode district, Safe Local Trades are recognised as a tried and trusted local service that has been running successfully since 2008 and, since then, they have put thousands of people in touch with reputable traders. They are also supported and promoted by various local authorities, charities, NHS and neighbourhood watch groups and their register is used by Age UK.
