The mission of Carers Voice is to improve the health and wellbeing of all carers in Norfolk and Waveney. Through partnership working, Carers Voice ensure that the voice of carers is heard and listened to, enabling support and services to be designed and delivered that reflect carers’ needs and interests. Carers are ‘experts’ through their lived experience and Carers Voice works to ensure carers are able to influence change regarding the services, policies and decisions that affect them and the people they care for.

Carers Voice has a FREE membership! By becoming a member, you will receive a bimonthly newsletter with information on national and local updates, involvement opportunities and events.
You will also be invited to and receive information about your local Carer Involvement Meeting. These meetings provide an opportunity for carers to come together with organisations working in the local area. At these meetings you can:

  • Have your voice heard
  • Influence change
  • Find out about local services and support
  • Connect with other carers including Carers Ambassadors
  • Hear speakers on topics requested by carers
  • Meet people and organisations working in your local area.

Coproduction is central to everything Carers Voice do. An example of this is the coproduction of the Carers Identity Passport which was coproduced with carers and practitioners working across health and social care to ensure that carers of all ages (including young carers and parent carers) are recognised, valued and respected. The Carers Identity Passport is FREE to request for carers of all ages in Norfolk and Waveney and Carers Voice is the issuing organisation. Carers Voice have a team of incredible Ambassadors with lived experience who promote the work of Carers Voice and the support available to carers.

The voice of carers is stronger together!
