People who look after a family member or friend make a huge difference – to the lives of the person they care for, and also play a role that is hugely appreciated by those around that person.

Once again, this year the BBC is including a Carer Award as part of its Make a Difference Awards 2023. This is for ‘someone who improves the life of an individual or group of people by caring for them on a regular basis.’

If you know someone who would deserve a nomination, please do put them forward.

You can nominate for the carer award here

You will need to give your name, email and phone number. And then details of the person you are nominating including a 250-word reason for your nomination.

(You need to be over 18 to nominate, and please read the criteria about nominating an under 18.)

We would also love to hear about the person you are nominating, if they would be happy to have us contact them to know more about them, you can contact us at comms@carersmatternorfolk.org.uk

The BBC Make a Difference Awards also have categories for volunteers and community groups. You can also nominate in these categories if you know someone or a group who deserve a nomination for these.
