COVID-19 Spring booster vaccinations are now available for those most at risk of serious illness from the disease. You or the person you care for may be eligible.
Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care System are encouraging the following people to come forward for their booster:
- adults aged 75 years and over
- residents in a care home for older adults
- individuals aged 5 years and over who are immunosuppressed
The eligibility for a Spring booster is more focussed than previous years, to target those people who would benefit most from having an extra vaccination.
You can use the NHS App or visit the NHS Covid Vaccination website to book your vaccination. If you are unable to book online, you can call 119 for free.
The vaccination will be available through your local GP practice, pharmacies, some hospital hubs, at the Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care System’s Wellness Hub at Castle Quarter in Norwich and on their Wellness of Wheels (WOW) bus.
The latest date you will be able to book a spring booster will be 29 June, with the last spring vaccination on offer the following day, 30 June.
